The following course description and prices relates to the 10-day NEBOSH International Construction Certificate unit/module and does not the include the IGC1 unit/module which must be completed prior to this course in order to attain the ICC qualification.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES
This course provides people in the construction industry with a solid foundation to carry out their responsibilities & make day to day decisions in respect of health & safety construction activities. It is based on international standards and management systems providing people with the underpinning knowledge & skills to apply in a practical context anywhere in the world.
COURSE CONTENT
This qualification requires candidates to have previously completed unit IGC1. The ICC module/course comprises of the following:

- Musculoskeletal hazards and risk control

Health and safety practical applicationTARGET AUDIENCE
This course has been designed for Supervisors, Managers, Safety Representatives and personnel who have responsibility for day to day advice on health, safety & welfare in the construction industry based in any part of the world outside the UK.
PRE-COURSE PREPARATION
Delegates must have undertaken week 1 of our IGC course, or must have successfully completed the NEBOSH General Certificate unit 1 in the last 5 years.
CERTIFICATION
At the end of this course, delegates sit the 2-hour ICC1 written paper plus the ICC2 practical assessment carried out at their own workplace which involves safety monitoring of a construction site and the production of a formal report. Candidates who successfully pass these assessments in addition to the IGC1 unit/module (available separately) will receive a NEBOSH International Certificate in Construction Health & Safety.
OTHER INFORMATION
Language: All of our courses (including all course materials) are delivered in English and the exams at the end of the course must also be written in English. Candidates should therefore have a good standard of written English. NEBOSH do not deduct marks for spelling or grammar but they must be able to read and understand candidates answers in order to be able to award the appropriate marks. Candidates for whom English is not their first language will be allowed extra time in their examinations, subject to approval from NEBOSH.
